For over a decade, I've worked deep inside the technology infrastructure of growing companies as a DevOps engineer. I've built the systems, automated the workflows, and managed the digital "plumbing" that businesses rely on every single day.
And I saw the same dangerous pattern emerging everywhere. In the race for efficiency, European organizations were adopting powerful software without fully understanding the cost. Their most sensitive data—client information, financial records, strategic plans—was being routed through US-based servers, creating a compliance nightmare and a fundamental loss of control.
